Here's mud in your eye - Grand Cherokee liberates LR3 from earth
They say a photo’s worth a thousand words. This photo probably resulted in just two words being flung in the face of a careless Land Rover staffer: “You’re fired.” During a media event in Bulgaria the Chrysler crew reached across the competitive divide to help out this hapless Rover LR3 that was mired in mud. The Jeep Grand Cherokee was able to liberate the LR3 from the earth’s soggy grasp, but not before someone from the Chrysler camp was able to snap a pic.
Of course, it’s entirely possible that another automaker’s SUV would have sunk clear up to its caps in mud given the same path or that the incident was caused by driver error. Either way, we get a laugh, Chrysler gets a photo op and Land Rover learns a hard lesson.
