50 Cent set to floss in chromed-out Lamborghini Murcielago
Bog-standard Lamborghini a bit too... blasé? Rapper 50 Cent evidently thinks so too. Good thing Fiddy's got mad stacks of cheddar and the surface wizards at Alsa Corp. on speed-dial, then. He of 'In Da Club' fame has apparently contracted the California company to coat his Lamborghini ‘Marcielargo’ <sic> in lustrous chrome paint.

Worst idea ever. Not only is it a terrible idea to begin with, though it may sound good in concept to some, the execution is always horrible, and it has been done by numerous people in the past.
I first saw this company when they painted the 2nd gen Toyota MR2.
I hope he only drives it at night...if he takes this thing out in the sunlight I pray for other citizens sake that they all own polarized sunglasses.

It's been done before, not something i'm really into. I've always thought these all chrome cars look really dull.
#1 who says it's not going to have 24" gold rims? How about a purple and lime interior to go along with it. Dont forget the shag carpet.

americanfun, what the heck does someone else's taste have to do with racism and white history month?? this has nothing to do with race, yet you bring race into the picture. let's take the log out of our own eye before calling someone else a racist, okay?
by the way, if you must know, white history month is every month on the calendar.

Mercedes did that for an advertisment about two years ago now. It looks pretty awesome on the merc's, but its just paint, its not actually chrome or anything like that, its still expensive though...oh and its illegal to drive a car on the roads with it on because of the reflection factor.

Honestly, I don't think it looks that bad in the pictures. While I'd personally never do it, I think it could look cool if the paint had a sort of black tinge to it, giving it the color of hematite or something.
Lamborghinis are designed to be sort of offensive (not quite what I mean but I can't think of the word) to the eye, or as the fellows on Top Gear would put it, "vulgar" and I think this type of paint job, much like the lime green Lamborghini has available kind of goes along with that mentality. It's as if the car were saying "in your face. if you don't like it too bad because I do." and I quite like that about their cars and I don't disrespect someone who wants to make it that much more their own.
