Hummer's Wrangler-fighter appears back in the mix

Badge-engineering watchdogs, beware, but don't complain too much, because General Motors believes there's more than a few consumers queuing for a Hummer H4. The Jeep Wrangler-fighting project that General Motors had been working on was originally tabled because a "clean sheet approach" employing unique space frame technology was deemed too costly to justify. The project is evidently back on, according to GM's Bob Lutz, albeit minus the "clean sheet."  Regardless, The Golden Gut is out to assure that the H4 will be a unique proposition.

All of which begs the question-- what platform will the H4 be sharing?
