The Loremo is like a sleek version of GM's failed EV1. I truly wonder if they scrapped every last one of those cars.

The EV1 did not fail. It was torpedoed by big oil and poor management by GM. Mobil oil now owns the rights to much of the EV1 technology. Unfortunately yes, they were all destroyed. See "Who killed the electric car"
