Chrysler SRT-8 Estate preparing for trip to Europe

Chrysler's SRT-8 has been punishing our native soil with burn outs and power slides for about a year now, and it's ready to finally leave the nest and travel abroad. Of course, long distance travel requires more luggage space, so it seems Europe will get a wagon version, or "estate", of the SRT-8 fairly soon. Our only evidence is this spy shot of a tester tooling around Auburn Hills, MI. That's pretty damning evidence. Hopefully Europeans can come face to face with this backpack-wearing beast at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show.
[Thanks ETMC for the tip]

I've seen many towns in Europe where this car would take up both sides of the road. that and $6/gal. gas will make this car a real "must have" LOL

Why would you want this when you could get the better looking 300C estate?

American cars were never a hit over there. But this should be decent competition to some of the sports sedans and wagons the Europeans build.
Plus, why would this car be any different than a Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Audi, etc. Those cars dont exactly get great gas mileage, either.

This makes sense, since wagons in general have a more youthful image than sedans in europe.

Yeah, plus, with all the pro-American sentiment we're getting in Europe these days, who wouldn't want to drive something that screams "American" in every way.
Give me an S4 Avant, please.

Leo, the Chrysler 300 C (and the Dodge Magnum, which is sold with a Chrysler badge in Europe) are relatively popular in the upper segment of the market, especially since the introduction of a version with a Mercedes diesel engine. I'm seeing more than a few of them on the highways between Antwerp and Brussels, Belgium.

If they power it with some TDI (turbo diesel), then they might sell a few.
You see fewer & fewer US cars around in Europe.
Quality, durability, repair cost, fuel economy ...

It's about time someone out of Detroit considers exporting. The dollar/Euro exchange rate should allow for very competitive pricing and some margin dollars flowing to the bottom line. The dollar should keep getting weaker too. Good strategy I say.

#2...this SRT8 Estate is the SAME as the 300c Touring, except for the enigine and some suspension changes, along with some other "content" upgrades

I think a 300C estate has been on sale in Europe for quite some time now, so it makes sense to offer an SRT-8 estate as well.
