Parents bought a '79 911 SC for cheap. It had 89,000 miles on it, but for the past ten years the PO never drove it. My dad and I pulled the engine and checked everythig out ourselves. We found nothing wrong, so we put it back together and changed the fluids.
It's been five years/30,000 miles since and the only thing we've had to do to the 911 was fill up on gas and change the oil. The 3.0 911s are virtually bulletproof and will last forever.
