Different trim pieces should solve those electical component problems Audi is infamous for. Whoops! I was accidently sarcastic.

Stealthy and classy....the perfect combo. Though I'm still leery about audi being that my friend just had to spend 2 grand in repairs for his 2000 a4. Only if audi and bmw could let honda or toyota do their electricals for them.

Wow. I was just sitting in that car 6 hours ago. It is really nice.
There was a funny site at the Audi display. Apparently one of the A4s was having an electrical problem and one of the Audi people in a suit was sitting with the door open and the access panel out trying to fix it. It was just stereotypical that one of the Audis on display would be having electrical problems. Gorgeous cars though.

Now that I've gotten used to the horse collar grille, I think Audi's are better looking than Bangled BMWs.
I'd love to have one, but Audi's reputation for rapid depreciation and high maintenance costs scare the hell out of me. If Audi quality improves they will sell more of them.

Of my last 4 Audis, only 1 ever had an electical issue... a window switch. It was the rest of the car on #3 that was an SOB.
But #4 is a cert pre-owned car with 100k warranty. I wouldn't even look at new A4s. Even with the 200hp, and 6 speed tip. And that cool S-Line package.
The new Audis are terrific. Just don't try to maintain it.

Pretty nice, reminds me of how BMW had the ZHP package for E46s (awesome package). The thing that bugs me is this does nothing to the engine or suspension like the ZHP package did. This car is begging to be lowered. Too much wheel gap!

Audi A4s are now more reliable than the BMW 3-series according to Consumer Reports. They've really improved a whole lot over the last several years. My family ended up choosing an Audi A4 for our new car over the Subaru Legacy, Mazdaspeed6, and BMW 325xi, because of the safety features and really nice handling and gearshift. We ended up getting a 100k extended warranty though, because even though Audis are more reliable, they're also still quite expensive to fix.

Pretty little jelly bean shape still holds up well. The industry has followed the Ford/Cadillac design of the folded edge, and Audi keeps this car very oval risking a dated look, but it works. The tires are fantastic and rich. Unfortunately the rest of this option is one unattractive design. It isn't fun, like the bumble-bee Charger. It isn't bling, like the Mini Cooper options. It is boring, looks like cheap plastic around the windows and on the grill and door handles. There is no design excuse for that horrible black bar across the grill. The design was intended for a band of chrome or metal. Now it looks like a cheap stereo from K-Mart.

Audis are expensive to repair?? oh noes!!
Luxury items are more expensive than economy items. If you appreciate the quality of an Audi the repair costs come hand in hand.
now I'd like to see this package on the A3 s-line :D

Comparing a Camry with an A4 is like comparing fireworks and missiles. Well, nearly.

I definitely like the stealthy look. I have been planning to buy the A4 2.0T in the next coming weeks but will hold off on that until April.
One dislike - the interior is wayyyy too dark. The piano black trim is overkill, imho - I'd like to see brushed titanium or even aluminum in its place.

Just get the S-Line instead!

My daughter just bought a 2000 A4 with 80,000 miles and it appears to have electrical problems. The gas empty light goes on and off in a totally random fashion, and today when she went to get Virginia emission inspection, two garages told her that the "computer" couldn't connect to her system. The seller of the car told her to drive it for 45 minutes before she goes back to get an emission check. I've never heard of anything like this and she has a 30 day return policy. I think that she should take the car back NOW. Any suggestions or advise? Thanks l

I have a black A4 S-Line with the Titanium package and it looks way better than any other A4 I have seen. Black on black with the only chrome being the Audi logo. I prefer the dark interior and it has a switch to only have small lights in the floor turn on when you open the door. Very stealth-like.

Hi Stephen,
Just wondering if you still have the Audi. I am about to purchase an 08 with the Titanium Package. I hear depreciation is pretty bad. Also, hearing about electrical issues.
Let me know.
