Avis launches its "Weekender" free weekend rental perks
As a perk for renting a vehicle for five-plus
consecutive days, Avis will send you off with a voucher good for a free weekend-long car rental. Visitors to
Avis.com can register between now and June 25, 2006 for up to three free weekends, assuming your Avis Wizard number is
up to date.
The release doesn't talk much about whether you're eligible for just the economy cars or whether the free rentals will include the premium vehicles, like convertibles and big sedans.

If it is anything like the promotion they ran last year (and it looks like it is.. except last year you just needed three weekday rentals) this applies only to economy cars... no free permium rentals
