SNEAK PEAK: Cadillac's Super Bowl commercial
Most of you probably didn't know that Cadillac is the Official Vehicle of Super Bowl XL. As such, GM is
taking the opportunity this Sunday during the big game to launch the all-new 2007 Cadillac Escalade’s first TV
spot. Called “Chrome Couture”, the 60-second ad places Caddy’s new luxo-barge in the midst of a
fashion runway show featuring models bedazzled with chrome accents. The commercial will air during the second quarter

HAHA OH WOW, American culture is going down the drain. Chrome Couture??? What the hell is that. Noone wants chrome anymore. They want well designed and engineered cars. That is why the American public is choosing to ditch America and go Japan.

Not much of a sneak peak. Of course, if you've only got 60 seconds, I suppose you can't give it all away.
Cadillac's turnaround in recent years has been nothing short of remarkable. Still, I wish they'd pay a little less attention to bling, and more attention to making sure that the effort that went into creating a desirable Cadillac also reappears in the form of a desirable Chevy sedan.

Pretty lame sneak preview. More than half of it is Autoblog logo, only about five seconds of the commercial. Hardly worth the looooonng download.

lame.... while i appreciate the intention, it hardly qualifies as a sneak peek... like 3 seconds total maybe? 4? perhaps there's just not much to show....

This commercial is far from an original concept. Unless there's something unique about the execution, it's going to be a huge waste of several million dollars!

Cadillac is doing something right, I just got back from the Super Bowl site. The large Escalade ad between the State and Fox theatres has tourist standing below it taking video and snapshots of it.
I suspect all the critics on here are marketing,advertising executives?

Good ad for a used Cadillac that was submerged during Katrina. Be careful before you buy a musty-smelling car these days!

People do like chrome. Cadillad is very popular with teenagers and have somehow been pulled into pop culture again. Watch any rap video and they will probably have an escalade. If there isn't one in ther video I can garantee they have one at home. Cadillac doesn't even put enough chrome for these people, rappers have to put huge chrome rims and tailpipes to add bling. There must not be any bling in japan. that has to be a boring place to buy a car. Cadillac is the king of bling
