Pastor sells church, buys BMW

There are always two sides to every
story, but sometimes things are far less interesting that way.
AP reports that a priest in Manteca, California
will be put in prison for 18 months after admitting to embezzling money. The pastor allegedly sold his town's oldest
church, the First Congregational Church of Ripon, for $525,000 and faked paperwork indicating that he owned the
house to leverage for loans, supposedly to buy a BMW.
This is one instance where you could say, "The
devil made me do it," and people might actually believe you.

LOL! Thanks Erin for the funny find. New meaning to "the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh away."

If the BMW he bought was a 507 like shown in the picture, I could understand why he'd do it! That is one fantastic looking car.
