Glad to hear Mitsu is doing well in some part of the world. According to a Reuters report, the manufacturer's European division met and exceeded its 2005 sales goals after rising 17.7 percent in the market. The Colt CZ3, Colt CZT, Grandis DI-D and Lancer Evolution IX were the big players that comprised the bulk of the increase.

Of particular interest is the fact that Mitsubishi sold over 55,000 units in Russia, the first geographic area to break 50,000 units in a calendar year. The Lancer, which was Russia's car of the year, helped out there. The company is expecting equally brisk sales in 2006, when it will introduce new vehicles including a sport utility truck.
