Mitsubishi Colt CZC set for Geneva debut

Mitsubishi's Colt CZC coupe-cabriolet, the third member of the Mitsubishi Colt European family will be unveiled at the 2006 Geneva Motor Show.
Designed in partnership with Pininfarina, the Europe-only Colt offers 2 2 seating, and this year's must-have feature - a folding hardtop. Pininfarina will manufacture the car in Italy, with availability targeted for the second quarter of 2006.
The CZC is available with Mitsubishi's 1.5-liter MIVEC turbo, good for 0-60 mph in about 8 seconds. More pictures after the jump.

This is one well styled (not overdone) sweet little ride ... and is that a retractable hard-top?
Man, why the heck can't WE have this car???

That is the ugliest car in the world. Europe can keep the little tiny clown cars...probably good on gas but you can find something just a little more attractive.

Eek... I almost love it. I've got a thing for those Euro B-Series cars. But that tail end... it looks like someone grafted the front of a much bigger car onto the back of an eclipse.

why do the car companies hate us? i love this car.
do what toyota did and import 5000 of them and if they sell, import more. america needs small cars in a big way.

Ohh Cool looking with the top down, fugly with the top up. However we do need some more small convertibles without a "VW" badge, you're on the right track Mitsu! Bring some over.

Yeah Bob, good call - very similar to the Tigra. Except isn't the Tigra a two-seater?

Someone apparently thought it'd be a good idea to take the new Eclipse and squish and squeeze it into subcompact form. Look at it.....its like the Eclipse's little brother. Interesting.

Cute car. It's too bad we in America would have to drive it in fear of Excursions and Suburban drivers on cell phones. Sigh. Maybe gas will hit $5.00 a gallon soon and cool little rides like this will flourish until we go bomb somebody for oil.
What's our oil doing under their sand anyway?

I think the Opel IS a 2 seater, but judging by the Mitsu's looks, its back seats arn't exactly spacious. That said, adding a back seat about doubles a cars sales.
