Hmm, I think Cadillac might be a bit upset of the front, which is a dead ringer for the CTS. Otherwise, I'm not too excited about any of the recent new small cars (Yaris, Civic, Fit, etc.). I really like the European Toyota Aygo and Ford Fiesta. Both those 3-door version looks extremely sharp.

OMG! I have been waiting for this day for so long. I must say I'm a bit disappointed though. I wanted a Mazda3 killer, I wanted something with the same agressiveness of other Nissans. Damn. A lot of things on this car look damn cheap. Also the thing needs to be lowered like 3 inches right away, it looks like a monster truck.
I hope is still has the QR25DE as an available engine. :)

THIS is supposed to take on the Mazda3 and Civic?

What happened? Didn't Nissan delayed the Sentra because it was too ugly? I can't imagine how bad the original design was, because this one is butt ugly! It's like a Frankenstein of the Altima and Maxima designs. Atleast the interior is nice.

To me it looks like Toyota, Honda and now Nissan are all about making very plain bodies and exciting headlights and taillights and everyone gets so excited.
This reminds me of an Ion from profile. The vehicle autoblog bloggers called ugliest small car they ever saw or something like that in their last pod cast. Kinda looks like a Cadillac up front. I'm sure the kids will love it though. Even though it looks like GM cars from 2 different angles. GM is so out of touch with the kids or is Nissan with this one?

I like it. The styling is more European than Japanese.
Did Renault have a hand in this?

Nice interior? Looks like it started out nice on the dash and then someone said, "We forgot the radio and AC controls! OK, lets just attach this silver two piece thing we had in the stock room" (i.e. an afterthought).
Saturn VUE moved from the ugly two piece to a one piece (one piece vent/radio/ac controls/stick shift) design. Looks like Nissan thought that was nice with the big gap between the radio and ac controls. Even Saturn learned their lesson.
Come on kids, other than the fancy big (trendy) lights this thing is crap.

The mazda3 4-door called....
It said that the "I have no trunk deck" design looks a lot less stupid with bigger tires.
Otherwise it looks sort of like a bedazzled roller skate... I can't tell whether I like or hate the interior.

Saturn is flattered that Nissan would steal their Ion. GM wishes them luck.

I knew they were going to do this... a mini-Altima
Nissan always shoots their self in the foot all the time. Another 4 to 5 years I have to see this shit on road.
As one guy said already "the Koreans are dancing for joy!" is correct! Hyundai/Kia is going to take sales where Sentra is.
It looks more Altima but I do see Ion Neon.

take a pinch of maxima, add a half spoon of altima and roll into a ball, and that folks is how to make a sentra.
its a "hybrid" well an ugly inbreed of the altima and maxima

I don't like how they had to make it more compact. Looks okay though.

Since when did Nissan have minimalistic design? If anything, they are too fussy (especially the Maxima interior). If you want minimalistic design, look at the new Mazdas and the Acuras.
