I hope the folks at Chrysler are paying attention. This car needs to be built. Look at the mustang, they cant keep it in the show room. They are selling them off the delivery trucks. Build this car, im a ford guy and I will buy one. Keep the price affordable and, keep it simple like the originals were (no GPS,iPOD's,dvd). Put on smaller rims to keep the cost down and let the aftermarket take care of the rest (rims, exhaust, gears, superchargers, programers, ect)make it solid axle and last but not least

Stretch it just a bit, and add a wing? Convertible too! Already saving for it... Make it GO GREEN! Better than investing in an original one. (I've had three '70's, already) RTB

The new Challenger is just right in my book! The new Camaro concept is, in a word, Fugly.

One of the most beautiful cars I have ever seen! I would sell a kidney to buy one! DC better make this! (And just how it is too, don't go screwing it up for production.) Again, this isthe most exciting concept I've seen in years, please oh please make it!

WICKED! The concept is great i just hope D-C doesn't make the mistake of changeing it if it does go into production. v.s. the camaro, the camaro is cute, but this is a whole nother ball game... 2 words BAD ASS! and it should whip up a nice storm with that 6.1... even though the 5.7 should do just fine too... Dodge, pleeeaaaaseee make this car!!!

I do admit, it is a sweet looking car. The specs on it are great and I bet it would be fun to drive!

....but under 20MPG? The cost for Dodge/Chrysler to set up and produce a novelty car should not be on the company's priority list. Gas is not cheap, and the Big-3 are not doing to well in the auto market anymore. The writing is on the wall - if you produce the car, please do it in a limited edition. The HEMI nostalgia is just that; memories of the past. Give me a roomy stylish hybrid that gets anywhere above 40MPG and I think the company would be able to stay afloat. Lest we be remided of the late-70s. Look at Ford, the 'restructuring' is causing how many THOUSANDS of metro Detroiters to be unemployed?!

I hate to be a party-pooper, but we need to look at the bigger picture.

The Hemi has 425 hp, 420 lb-ft of torque, and a six-speed manual transmission. So geared, with its 4,100 pound weight, it can do 0-60 in 4.5 seconds (with 20 inch wheels on front and 21 inch wheels on back), and runs the quarter mile in 13 seconds flat; top speed is 174 mph (limited by wind resistance), while gas mileage is estimated at 14 city, 20 highway, very good compared with the original Challenger.

Hello folks, Im posting from Brazil, Im a big Hemi fan and I hope DC dont mess it all up when turning the concept into a production car, as Ford did to the Mustang (Yes, the 05 Mustang is a beuty, but the concept was a killer, just as the Challenger concept is!).
Indeed, the Challenger is a beautiful car! Looking forward to the Plymouth Cuda version (I hope)!!!

3-Cuda's 2-Baracuda's 2-Challengers all in the 1970-1971 years the most fun I can remember.. Even a few Chev's.. I am little older now and I would stand in line, please give it the options of Hockey Stick, BillBoard, Go Wing, Shaker, ECT: Dont hestitate in production they will sell by the train car!!! I will take mine in Black w/Houndstooth and white vinyl top and some extra goodies to dress it out. GO FOR IT BUILD IT

Someone woke up at Chrysler! I had a Challenger in the early 70s and loved it. I now have an 03 supercharged cobra and it is a very nice car, and did I mention very fast as well (2.7" pulley swap) for added boost. Here is the thing, STICK TO A SOLID REAR AXEL! The wheel hop with that much power is sometimes uncontrollable and damaging. This is why Carol Shelby is NOT using an IRS in the 07 Cobra GT500. I have added support to my IRS and still get wheel hop if I am not careful, it's the only thing I don't like about the car.

You gotta build this! I would get rid of my Corvette for this one,I love the Charger too. This Challenger needs to done just the way it is, Chrysler got this one exactly right,it makes the Mustang look like crap and the Camaro too,The Challenger is one beautiful car!
