Volvo S80: Countdown to 2007
We
first reported on Autoblog (primarily with photos) about Volvo's new S80 back in October, but more details on the Swedish-born,
Ford-owned company's flagship were reported recently over at the Detroit
News.Front and all-wheel drive (AWD) will continued to be offered and a 4.4-liter, V8 engine is being considered for the car, as well as a turbo diesel. That's it, not much to chew on until we actually see the car and get real scoop at the Geneva Motor Show in March when the new S80 is set to debut.

I am looking ot buy a diesel car the next time I buy a car. I think it is time that we make sure the damge GM did is not forever. In Europe the diesel engine is quiet, fast and economical to operate.
