With all the negative publicity on teenagers and their driving habits, this article was a breath of fresh   air.

Daniel Zhao, a graduate of the Glen A. Wilson High School in Hacienda Heights, California., won a contest to create a thirty second television public service announcement (PSA) convincing teenagers to 'buckle up'. The contest was sponsored by Volkswagen.

"Daniel's film is particularly compelling because he knows what other teens would miss if their lives were ended tragically short," said Steve Keyes, director of corporate communications, Volkswagen of America, Inc.

Zhao received a $10,000 savings bond for his PSA.
