Suzuki SX4 unveiled
Autocar is reporting on the Suzuki version of the Suzuki/Fiat/Lancia small SUV, the SX4. Obviously sharing its
Giugiaro Italdesign styling with its Fiat clone, the Sedici , the SX4 differs from the Sedici in that it will be
offered in a FWD "Urban" version, as well as the 4x4 "Outdoor" version that mirrors the Fiat. The Suzuki offers the
same engine options as the Fiat. (See our post on the Sedici for more details.)
The SX4 is slated to debut at the Geneva Auto Show in March.

An interesting little car, but another Suzuki not being made in Japan. The US has several models made in Korea, but thank G-d not the Grand Vitara.

If this is the way that the fine lines of Italian small cars finally get to grace US streets, fine. (here come the inevitable jokes about Tony fixing them again and again)

Hmm, a thought, doesn't DMX have the rights to that name. It was part of the AMC lineup when they were consumed by the Chrylser group. Not that many in the general public remember that 1980's car but you know how auto companies are with their names.

Back to the future then. I'd always wanted one of those 'tall wagon'-type Japanese cars from the '80s. But I was too young :-)
The 1988-91 Honda Civic wagon still strikes me as a perfectly realized city car. And it had four-wheel drive as well.
