Edmunds.com's Inside Line spotted a 2007 Nissan Maxima, complete with a refreshed exterior and completely redesigned interior. The update presumably seeks to position the Maxima further above its Altima sibling, as well as better position the vehicle to compete with the likes of the Chrysler 300 and Toyota Avalon, both of which are stealing sales from the current Maxima.
The all-new interior is expected to move upscale from the current iteration, employing more advanced electronics and telematics. The company may also build a hybrid version of the vehicle for 2009.

[Thanks to Arnold for the tip]
