The Chery Crossover will undoubtedly be the first vehicle from Bricklin's Chinese automaker to invade North America, and the Detroit News has a sneak peak of a mule being hauled on a flatbed. Yes, the Chinese are coming sometime in 2007 and we expect their strategy to be the same as both the Japanese and Koreans before them: infiltrate the market with inexpensive transportation and refine, refine, refine. This spy shot of Chery's Crossover reminds us all too well of the bland models pumped out by Hyundai not too long ago. It'll seat seven and be powered by a family of I4 and V6 engines. While pricing is purely speculative at this point, you can bet it will undercut everything in its class by a lot.
