Have you ever felt the need to substantiate others' perception of you as a total dweeb? Perhaps there are a few people out there wondering if you're really that dorky. If so, may we suggest the Vroom Box, a horribly complex little electronic device that's able to digitally recreate the sound of 15 different cars and fantasy vehicles and play them through speakers under your car (amplifier and speakers sold separately, of course). Now that three-cylinder Subaru Justy of yours can sound just a like a Shelby Mustang. Oh happy day!
The manufacturer has audio clips of the system up on its site for your review, which is a bad idea considering none of them sound anything like an actual engine. Imagine the sound of a vehicle accelerating in Grand Theft Auto and you'll have a good idea of the vocal horsepower offered by the Vroom Box. You can pick up a Vroom Box for the low, low price of $159 when it goes on sale in early 2006. If you do then we can't be friends anymore.

[Thanks Nick for the tip, we think]
