It seems that "value pricing" wasn't enough to carry the Big 3 through the month of October in the wake of employee pricing. As a response each domestic automaker has announced a new round of rebates to help clear out their remaining 2005 inventories. GM is offering an additional $1,000 rebate on 2005 vehicles through November 13, while Ford is offering zero percent loans for up to six years on the 2005 F-150, Explorer, Expedition and Lincoln Navigator. Chrysler has also added a $1,000 rebate on all 2005 and 2006 models. These rebates are in addition to any incentives the automakers are currently offering.
