If you are a fan of the Audi Shooting Brake Concept, you've gotta check out its new microsite — an up-close look at the stunning concept featuring some innovative flash navigation (albeit a bit confusing at times). And of course, they've got a bunch of wallpapers and a screensaver ready for download. Enjoy.

You might want to check your editing. It's Shooting Brake not Shooting Break, (that sounds violent).
TheChaz @ Dec 18th 2005 11:17PM
You can really see the DNA for the new TT in there, especially in the profile views. Leave the front end, chop the top off for the roadster, and envision a fastback for the coupe. Looks good.

There have been a lot of comments over the last few months about how this site has gone downhill. Quantity vs quality, poor research and all that. I've been staying quiet because I figured you are all new and just getting your feet wet.
But come on; Shooting Break? Please, could you all just take 5 minutes before you post a story to make sure that you have the facts straight and the spelling correct?
I think most of the readers here would agree with me when I say we'd like to have fewer but real stories with some quality information than a whole bunch of garbage just for the sake of having 30 posts in a day.

this design looks nice -what i could see of it- but the website is a pain in the ass to navigate.

From the "power" section of the flash site:
"... has a transversally installed four-cylinder V6 engine with displacement of 3.2 liters."
Looks like the marketing guys are at it again (makes me sad to say I'm a marketing guy).

Not too crazy about the Hannibal Lector grille.

if only it was a sedan..

UH2L, toneroo: Maybe you should double check before reponding. "Shooting break" was the original, and still more correct term. See:

I hope it's easier to navigate the Shooting Break (orginial and more correct spelling, as in "taking a break while hunting/shooting") than it is their Flash. Still haven't been able to see the interior.

Not sure I like this. It is beautiful and well thought out, but it looks like Audi is following not leading. It looks like a better version of the BMW 1 series, or a varriant of the last Mazda 3. Its well thought out but not clever, brave or in anyway iconic. This is not a car other designers will be copying like the last TT. I'll be ordering my S line TT before they switch over to this newer generic world car look. Sorry Audi you seem to be losing your courage.
