Two completely separate stories about VW developing a new coupe have been going around the web, which leads us to believe that VW thinks some serious two-door fun is store for the company. The first story is about the spiritual revival of the Scirocco, which, according to Autoweek, will instead be called the Rivo. The second has just been confirmed by Wheels24 and involves one of VW's plants in Emden, Germany that has committed to build a third model in addition to the Passat sedan and wagon. All signs here point to a new Passat coupe. And then let's not forget the new Eos, which when its retractable hardtop's in place is practically a coupe.
