I'm pretty sure the design inspiration for this car was the movie Who framed Roger Rabbit?, although the
2-seater LC also bears a striking resemblance to a Fiat 850. I haven't found English specs for the car, but I can tell
you it has a front-mounted 660 cc 3-cylinder engine and a 4-speed automatic.
I'm guessing LC is short (ha!) for Little Car, but I'm open to other suggestions…
If they build it they would sell everyone made. put the 1.0 suzuki engine in it and it would be great for the cities here in the US. Forget about the SMART. Lets have this.

My Geo Metro (89) has a 55hp engine and runs the freeway ok @65-75mph with the a/c on. The LC has more hp and less weght. I'd like to see a hatchback instead of that miniscule trunk. Such a small car can use every cu-ft for storage - like groceries, etc. Of course, it's too functional and economical for US Suzuki to import :) ( better to be an also-ran in the wasteful car group? )

For some reason, I expected everyone to "diss" this little car before I went onto the comments section. I was kind of shocked to find that everyone seems to love it, at least those who bothered to comment! Not my cup of tea, but on the other hand, it'd beat the hell out of my '62 1/2 Corvair convertible for weekend summer crusin' (a lot more reliable, a lot less pollution, a lot safeer - with air bags, etc.) and would probably get a lot of attention at car shows - even it it could not compete as a classic. Anyone want a Corvair for cheap? Put me on the waiting list for one of these Suzuki. If you bring them into the US that is. I think knowing a tad about engineering, I would imagine that they could upsize the bore and stroke of the 660cc engine to maybe 900cc for export, making it suitable for car-azy speeds in the US compared to the relatively slow crawl that apparently typifies Japanese auto travel (having never been there, I am not absolutely certain on that point but I've read that Tokyo is nearly impossible to get accross by car - being in near-permanent gridlock).
