Well, the maybach was out before the Toyota and it is not uncommon for automakers to use design cues of high end models to create an appearance of higher than average quality and luxury.

Bugatti Veyron should be the top one.

Where is the Ferarri Enzo Ferarri? I believe they command higher prices than any of these do.
      Enzo isn't sold anymore >_>

Except #12, the previous Avalon and Camry looked pretty much the same as the current ones. The basic look was common well before the Maybach ever came out.

The article should have mentioned car prices in Asia, which turn into 2x, 3x, and even 4x the msrp because of government import and luxury taxes.

Bugatti Veyron not on the list, because it's not sold yet?

Or you could save some money and buy a honda Civic. A park bench, a fart can muffler, and a few VTECH stickers later and you could watch any of the cars on that list eat your dust. On a more serious note, how old is the Saleen S7? It has been around for a while and they must be pushing the limits of its chasis with all that power unless they have been doing some serious engineering work over the years

To hell with that, I want a dbr9. I'm reasonably confident its at least a cool mil. No comparison.

How about horsepower per dollar? THAT would be a fun list.

They have the two Koenigseggs, two different wheelbases of Maybach, but they only listed the Zonda C12S 7.3 Convertible? What about the coupe?
