Some Proton Gen2 owners are taking matter into their hand concerning the inability of their doors to close properly. On many of these vehicles the door hinge is not aligned properly, so Paul Tan has posted a how-to describing a simple solution for the problem on his blog.

The fix is merely a matter of loosening the latch the door connects to on the door frame and realigning it with a mark on the frame. It seems so simple that it makes you wonder why the Malaysian manufacturer didn't issue a service bulletin. Perhaps they did and nobody was listening.
