I'm continually amazed at all these weird cars that debuted in Frankfurt while I wasn't looking. Add the EDAG Show
Car No. 8 to the list. This Kermit-colored roadster is considered a "study" at the moment, with an on-road prototype
planned for the 2006 Geneva Show next year. EDAG Engineering + Design AG is responsible for the sporty appearance of
the car, which is actually a Smart Roadster under the surface. The big selling point of the Show Car No. 8 is that it
can be produced using existing production facilities, mainly the one in Hambach, France that will soon be idle after
the Smart Roadster is discontinued.

Don't like the rear, but the front's neat - kinda like that Venturi Fetish concept from a few years back...I would have killed for that car, except for the fact that it was electric.

Very sharp and aggressive styling for such a small package. Hints of preying mantis. Is there performance to match the "Elise-ish" looks?

I assume this will keep the rear subframe from the Roadster? If so, there is a small company in the UK which make complete drop-in rear subframes with GSX-R 1000 or Yam R1 engines,180hp in that car? Someone has to do it!!! I'd put my money down now!
