The Chevy HHR has played a role not many would covet. It has been the media joke of the model year — journalists have described the vehicle as the "PT Me Too," referring to its retro styling and similar characteristics to the Chrysler PT Cruiser. Yet the HHR sold 8,000 units in August — without the employee discount — and the company has already ordered two production increases so far. Proud papa Bob Lutz barks, "For those who doubted it, it's an absolute sell-out."
