DCX is getting serious in China. You might already know it recently got the green light to produce Mercedes sedans in its new plant outside of Beijing, and earlier this week we reported on its joint venture to build minivans in FuZhou. Now comes news that it will start building Chrysler 300s in late 2006, a smart move given the immense popularity of the 300 sedan in China as it was recently voted the most desirable luxury sedan.

We wonder if the Chinese market will get the 300C Touring (wagon) with the 3.0L turbodiesel V6 that John and Randall saw in Frankfurt.
