I for one think hybrids are a reality for the future. I don't think we'll run out of gas anytime soon but we are seeing prices get higher and higher. The folks at Porsche aren't stupid, I'm sure they know they need to develop the technology. I also bet they come up with a respectable high performance hybrid system.
