I showed up late to the Lamborghini press conference and missed the sheet being pulled to unveil the Gallardo
Spyder, but it's no big whoop as we've all seen the spy shots before. The Spyder's engine and tranny have received
modifications including increased horsepower up to 520 hp and lower ratios for its six-speed gearbox. 0-100kmh (62mph)
happens in a scant 4.3 seconds and the car can reach a terminal velocity of 195 mph with the top up and 191 mph with it
down. Better make sure your toupee is glued on real tight before hitting the autobahn with the top down.
