Perhaps no other company is better suited to help Katrina victims at the moment than Honda, which in addition to being able to afford a large donation also produces many items that are desparetely needed by the victims and relief workers alike. Fortunately the American arm of the Japanese auto giant has stepped up big time with a donation of $5,000,000 to the American Red Cross. In addition, Honda will dip into its various endeavors to provide generators, water pumps, all-terrain vehicles, personal watercraft, outboard motors and additional vehicles for the relief efforts. Regardless of your bias for or against Honda, we think it's a classy and caring gesture.
