The Grand Am Cup and the SCCA SPEED World Challenge series are making semi-pro racing affordable again, in part through rules that make a wide variety of cars competitive.
One of these is Chevy's Cobalt. GM's supercharged Ecotec powerplant is already a potent force in drag racing, now GM wants you to take it road racing. And they want to help you do it.

Go to the GM web site and download The Cobalt Bible, aka pages 139 through 155 of the GM Sport Compact Performance Build Book. In 16 illustrated pages GM tells you how to build a Grand Am Cup Cobalt, just the way the fellows at GM Performance Division did. They even include the list of suppliers with contact information.

How do they run? The pictured car won the ST class of the Grand Am Cup race at Mid-Ohio last weekend. What are you waiting for?
