Upclose and personal with the Bugatti Veyron: Exclusive Spy Shots
This is the last in a series of photos we received from a reader about his ride near Mt Evans in Colorado. In these
photos, Ganesh was at the bottom of Mt. Evans near Echo lake. It's near where the SUV photo was taken.
Here is his story:
This also where I saw 2 Bugatti Veyrons parked with another pristine one arriving. Two of the Veyrons had a lot of on
board data acquisition systems (more wiring than a small company network room) and another appeared to be in full
production trim with protective plastic covering its entire interior. The Bugatti team also bought along a Saleen S7
with them, not sure if it was used to provide some relative comparisons.
The Saleen S7 is clearly a Twin Turbo. The Saleen S7 is currently the most powerful production sports car on the
planet. Bugatti clearly must us this car as a benchmark to make sure it makes appropriate use of its claimed 1,000+
horsepower. We should see the Veyron show up very soon in production form, based on Ganeshs photos of the plastic
wrapped interior.

in the third fromt he bottom pic, is that one of those 90's bugattis?
I dont' remember anything about them besides the hideous colors.

#2, close but thats its a Veyron too, painted the same "french blue" those '90s EB110s were shown in. Interesting u mentioned that tho cuz I thought I was the only one who saw a visual link with those older Bug's in this new Vdub one.

I saw one of the Bugatti's yesterday afternoon 8/31/05 at the Continental Divide in Colorado near the Keystone Resort. I'm not sure if they were doing testing at 12,000 feet or what? But I must say it was pretty impressive watching them hit those turns in the mountains!

Interesting how they're using an American supercar as the benchmark. Also, the Koenigsegg is the world's most powerful car, and also the fastest. Those are the benchmarks Bugatti's trying to beat.

the BUGATTI VEYRON is the best car. the saleen looks ugly and demented, it looks like from the 90's. The BUGATTI looks futuristic and COOL!!!!!!!!!! I hope to get the BUGATTI, if all goes to plan, to add to my car collection and occaisionally drive round my track.

THE BUGATTI VEYRON IS THE BETTER CAR!!!!!
IT WOULD BE THE FASTEST CAR IF THE SALEEN DIDN'T EXIST.
ITS FASTER THAN THE Koenigsegg. THE BUGATTI'S GOT A ----LIMITED---- TOP SPEED OF 252MPH!!!!! AND ITS LIMITED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
