Mercedes R-Class -- Official Car of the Rolling Stones Tour
It seems like a demographic match made in heaven — the Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the Rolling Stones. Heck, their names even both start with R, and don't think the marketing folks over at MB would pass on this opportunity for a clever play-on-words - with its sponsorship of the Rolling Stones "A Bigger Bang" tour, MB's also launched a sweepstake dubbed "RocktheR" (nice!). The grand prize is tickets to go see the Stones in Europe via a first-class flight, and a premium hotel stay for two… with Mick Jagger. OK, just kidding about the Jagger part.

are these things out yet? i was on a 3000 mile roadtrip (AK->Reno where i am now...) and i saw *2* of these near Banff in Canada.
first a beige one... and i was like 'wtf... was that one of those new Mercedes? sorta looked like it...' and i asked my brother if he got it on film... then a few seconds later a black one rolled by that he thinks he got on film.
i didn't think they were out yet. and seeing 2 in a row makes me think it was a manufacturer run similar to what i see every winter in Alaska for cold weather testing.
