The new Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe will come in at about $83,995 when it goes on sale in October. The 2006 model pays tribute to the GTS Coupe that came before it with a signature Viper Blue with Stone White stripes paint job. It also features a double-bubble roof that frees up enough headroom for helmets and wraparound taillamps, just like the 1996-2002 Viper GTS Coupe. Like its convertible kin, the SRT10 Coupe comes with a 505-cubic-inch V10 making 500 hp and 525 lb-ft of torque. Unlike the convertible the coupe's structure is more rigid and aerodynamic. While the SRT10 Coupe is visually stunning and visceral in its power delivery, the new Corvette Z06 that will most likely meet or beat the Dodge in every performance category, stickers at $65,800. Good luck finding one for that price, though.
