Somehow spy shots of the next Wrangler from Jeep ended up on Autocar, a UK site, and they're of the new four-door, long-wheelbase model. Details of the new Wrangler's design have already been revealed in a previous post, but these are the first images of a four-door version. We already know that the iconic straight-six that resided beneath the Wrangler's hood for so long is being replaced by the Liberty's 3.7L V6, which makes us wonder exactly how Jeep will differentiate the two in the marketplace. While the Wrangler is certainly more of the hardcore off-roader type, the Liberty can still bust boulders better than the majority of its competitors. Also, will the 4-door Wrangler have removable doors like the 2-door, perhaps even a soft-top? While the latter option is doubtful, the former would certainly set the 4-door Wrangler apart in the crowded compact SUV segment.
