We have already shown you the new look of the Volvo S80, at least in disguise. New speculation seem to indicate the next generation S80 will have an optional V8, like the Yamaha unit in the XC90 V8. It seems to make sense with most of the S80's competitors sporting optional V8s. Another interesting part to this particular article is the statement that an all-wheel-drive S80 V8 is already available in the US. I suppose the Volvo representative quoted knows more about the US Volvo line-up than we do. As a side note, with the Volvo receiving the Ford-Yamaha V8 in the XC90 and the S80, why can't it be optional on the Ford FiveHundred?
