The US Market will not get the VW GTI for some time, but the GLI is coming sooner. The new GLI will be equipped with the 2-liter FSI Turbo four that is shared with the Audi A3. A six-speed manual will be standard with the DSG being optional. Finally, a Jetta that I can get behind. The honeycomb grill looks sweet, much better than the chrome visage of the regular Jetta. Hopefully the new GLI will not carry a crazy price tag, but pricing will be difficult for VW with the Jetta inching close to A3 territory. If this thing has Recaro buckets up front and is priced less than the A3, I'm going to be all over it.
