Spy shots of the 2006 Honda Civic have surfaced at The Car Connection and show the next gen small car with virtually no camouflage. The rear of the sedan looks a little fat due in part to the C-pillars that swoop down to the rear-most edge of the deck lid, thereby almost eliminating the trunk. The beltline also seems significantly higher than the current generation, a design technique employed in many small cars today like the Focus and Corolla. The Si looks very similar to the concept that debuted at the Chicago Auto Show, except for the addition of minor items like door handles (smart move) and a large exhaust tip. The sporty coupe will come with a 200-hp VTEC motor and six-speed manual. Is this the poor man's RSX?
