The recent Goodwood Festival of Speed has been referenced in a few posts and we thought it would be nice to find a review of the event for our readers who don't happen to live in the U.K. The Goodwood is a classic car motoring event held at the country home of Lord and Lady March in the south of England. Vehicles spanning automotive history and including modern day sports and concept cars are shown off at the show and raced up the long driveway, known as the Goodwood hillclimb, of the royal estate. The event's site features a video (click on "THE EXPERIENCE") of an Aston Martin DBR1 going all out up the hillclimb, which gives a good impression of the event's size and popularity.
