Toyota to contribute to US 'social needs'

We have been covering the drama that Toyota has been created over their apparent domination of the U.S. automotive industry. They have been greasing the press by mentioning how they should 'help' the U.S. automotive industry. First it was raising prices to help GM and Ford. Then the chairman of Toyota mentions supplying GM with their hybrid technology. Now, their management team is interested in contributing to the United State's social needs. If you read the first part of the Reuters report, it seems that it is Toyota's runaway success that has "fanned talk of a political backlash in the United States." Someone has forgotten that it is Toyota who is fanning and talking.
