About this time last year every bit of news surrounding satellite radio involved automakers choosing sides between XM and Sirius. Now a few automakers have gotten smart and decided to offer consumers a choice between the two. Nissan/Infiniti, Toyota/Lexus and Audi currently let you decide which satellite radio format you want in your car. Subaru is saying that it might give consumers an option as well when it starts offering satellite radio. Contrast this with Hyundai's strategy of not offering Sirius satellite radio because of Howard Stern's impending arrival on the network and his knack of offending people. Thanks Hyundai, but we think people know how to change a channel if they want to.
