GM said it would stop advertising in the Los Angeles Times due to "factual errors and misrepresentations" in articles. About a year ago, Bob Lutz had threatened publishers the loss of ad revenue if GM suspected unfair reviews and bias in reporting and has followed through. An anonymous GM executive said a review of the G6 was particulary offensive when the author petitioned impeachment of GM executives after driving the G6. The LA Times said they would look into any misrepresentation that may have appeared and make corrections.
