We all love car magazines. Even though most of us can get all our information over the Internet almost instantly, we still wait for that new magazine to hit the mailbox. There is something to be said to having the art in your hand. But for the most part, the old guard car magazines are content to take snapshots of cars driving on a road. How many times can they do the blur effect? MPH Magazine is the new kid on the block and they're bringing a lot more to the table in the design department. Besides the jaw-dropping "Detroit Stripped," with classic rods and Betty-esque pin-up girls, there is a perfectly themed spread on the Ford SYN-us. But even the standard "Here's the lowdown on the new Miata" gets a nice treatment that outdoes the other mags. The only problem for the amazing design team is the boring cover. Will anyone give the mag a shot if the cover is as unflattering as the others on the shelf? For more "Stripped" images and others click below. All artwork provided by MPH Magazine.
