Head of GM's China operations quits
Phil Murtaugh has resigned abruptly from a successful position as the head of General Motor's China operations. Murtaugh has cited personal reasons for stepping down. Troy Clarke, head of GM's Asia-Pacific region will replace him temporarily. Though the Chinese boon years appear to be over, GM China had made over $400 million in each of the past two years.
