John Cooper Works Mini Cooper Convertible

On display at the New York Auto Show was the convertible outfitted with the John Cooper Works tuning kit and a ground effect package. For 2005, Cooper Works adds 7 horsepower, up to 207 at 6,950 rpm and torque is up a little to 180 lbs-ft at 4,500 rpm. Other updates to the Mini line for 2005 include an optional limited slip differential for all S models equipped with a six-speed manual transmission and an optional steptronic six-speed auto also only available in the Cooper S.
