The different voices from AutoWeek's editorial review crew usually span the gamut of opinions for the car they are reviewing. The Honda Accord hybrid has evoked almost all positive responses, many of which that make us car guys smile. The Accord is the first gas/electric car to stress the performance issue along with gas savings in a package that doesn't advertise to the world that it's a hybrid and at a cheaper price of admission than the Lexus RX 400h. There's a simple equation here: More horsepower and better gas mileage equal more fun. We agree with one reviewer's optimism over the future of hybrid performance cars, "Time to get green and mean".
