We read a headline on Engadget and then found this more detailed story on TMCnet.com about Nokia and VW teaming up to offer Bluetooth integration. While many cars offer some form of Bluetooth access this is supposedly the first time a vehicle comes factory equipped to handle Bluetooth SIM Access Profiles. No we don't know what that means either, but it seems this is one way to make wireless monetary transactions and might be a nice way to pay tolls if the technology spreads.
