Edmund's Inside Line supplies what appears to be the first spy picture of GM's new Zeta rear-wheel drive platform destined for the new Buick Invicta (think Park Ave replacement), Buick Velite convertible, Pontiac GTO, Pontiac G8 (Bonneville/GP replacement), Chevy coupe (Chevelle?) and almost all of Holden's next generation of cars. Holden is GM's Australian brand that has performed most of the engineering of this platform. The 5.3-liter and 6.0-liter V-8s (no more 5.7s guys) will nestle quite nicely under the hood and be GM's best chance at catching the 300/Magnum/Charger crowd.

The Car Connection has two more, larger photos of the sedan.
